Description
Charming and vivid 1970s Fante Asafo flag with a woman chief pointing towards the central scene, a blocky purple house with a goat (?). The style of figure and border indicate that this flag is from the well known master flagmaker Kobina Badowah and his workshop at Kormantse. Very good condition, small damage at upper right corner. The text is likely the name of the female officer.
Measurements 5’2″ x 3’6″, 158 cm x 106.
