Description
Another Fulani wedding hanging cloth dating from around the 1970s. Here the traditional blue and white checkerboard pattern is reproduced in black and white with scattered weft stripes in orange, turquoise, and yellow. Three wide bands of weft float motifs divide up the cloth.. There is a small rust mark on the back, otherwise in excellent condition. Would make a great wall hanging or a dhurrie like floor rug in a low traffic spot.
Measurements 7’6″ x 4’2″, 228 cm x 128.
