Description
A person holding an umbrella stands at the centre of this classic “guineafowl” check Ewe woman’s cloth. A second weft float motif, depicting a hand with a heart, is set towards the lower edge. Paired blocks of light yellow, orange and red shades are set within a regular grid. Dates from circa 1930-50 and is in excellent condition.
Measurements 6’10” x 4’7″, 209 cm x 139.
