Description
Fabulous mixed strip men’s cloth from the Bondoukou region of north eastern Ivory Coast. Multiple different quite narrow strips set up an interplay of colour and rhythm across the cloth. This is undoubtedly the finest of the very few mixed strip cloths I have seen from this tradition. Dates from early to mid C20th and is in excellent complete condition. Measurements 8’9″ x 5’6″, 256 cm x 168.
