Description
Blocks of yellow, pink, and purples form shifting diagonals against the dark blue ground of this finely woven Ewe kente chief’s cloth. Two white pinstripes run down the centre of each strip. Small birds, hands, combs, swords, and geometric motifs dot the cloth. Dates from circa 1930-1950 and is in very good condition.
Measurements 121 inches x 68, 308 cm x 174.
