Description

Glass bottles were the only objects in Fante villages that were inpenetrable to ants.  On Asafo flags a bottle covered in ants became a symbol for the strength of the company’s defences that could withstand any powerful attack by rival groups.  Dates from around 1970.  Condition: Excellent.

Measurement: 62 inches x 38 ins, 159 cm x 97 cm.
