An offbeat array of white and pale weft blocks is scattered across the handspun indigo striped cotton strips of this unusual men’s cloth. Dating from around 1930-1950, its’s the work of a weaver from the Abron or perhaps Koulango ethnic groups in the region of Bondoukou in Ivory Coast. In neat clean condition with two or three small patched repairs.
Measurements 98 inches x 62, 250 cm x 159.
