Fine Ewe kente woman’s cloth with three different strip patterns. This combination of a strip of weft pattern blocks with two strips that lack them is not something I have seen before and imparts a quite distinctive overall visual impact. Dates from circa 1920-1950. The cloth is complete and has a patina of faint marks on white areas from decades of storage in a metal trunk.
Measurements: 86 inches x 52, 218 cm x 132
