Description
A good variety of neatly woven figurative motifs, including people, animals, a bird, and a sword on this finely woven Ewe kente woman’s cloth. A grey stripe runs along the centre of each dark blue strip, framed by white pinstripes. Dates from circa 1930s. One tiny patched repair, otherwise in very good neat condition.
Measurements 7’4″ x 3′ 10″, 223 cm x 116.
