Description
Superb example of a rare early style of Ewe kente woman’s cloth. Red and yellow weft faced blocks, each bordered by narrow white stripes, form a lattice pattern across a background of dark red and black pinstripes. Dates from circa 1900 and is in excellent complete condition. Would look fantastic on the wall in a contemporary interior.
Measurements 6’6″ x 4’1″, 198 cm x 123.
