Description
Classic image on this 1970s Fante Asafo flag, illustrates the saying “It boils but it doesn’t burn.” The company soldier at the left is putting his hand into the top of the boiling pot without getting burnt. It represents a challenge to a rival company saying that they are not as dangerous as the look. The style of figure and border indicate that this flag is from the well known master flagmaker Kobina Badowah and his workshop at Kormantse. Excellent condition..
