Description
Not sure what is depicted on this finely made 1970s Fante Asafo flag. The central figure appears to be spitting fire and holds onto chained stars. In any event it is a dramatically effective image. Two very neat birds and perhaps a royal umbrella are placed at the right side. The style of figures and border indicate that this flag is from the well known master flagmaker Kobina Badowah and his workshop at Kormantse. Excellent condition..
