“Without it’s head a snake is just a rope” the Asafo company warns it’s rivals that they will be defeated. Late work by the prolific and long lived master flagmaker of the Anomabo workshop, Kwamina Amoaku (1895-1985) – See Forni & Ross, Art, Honor, and Ridicule (2017:61-62) for a discussion of this significant figure and the Anomabo workshop with which he was associated. Dates from circa 1970. A few tiny holes but not obtrusive.
