Description
A delicate line of yellow/blue ikat separates a broad stripe of a greyish blue from a paler blue pinstripe on each strip of this elegant Yoruba asooke woman’s wrapper cloth. Dating from circa 1930-50 this cloth retains all of the original hand stitching of seams and hems and is in excellent complete condition.
Measurements 6’3″ x 4’8″, 190 cm x 142.
