Description
Rare white hand spun indigo cotton strip weave woman’s wrapper cloth from the Abron or Koulango people of north eastern Ivory Coast, circa 1950s. Indigo pinstripes set just off centre of the strips, with a single wider stripe near one edge. In excellent condition, this is a strong cloth suitable for upholstering or other interiors use.
Measurements 80 inches x 48, 203 cm x 122.
