Description
Three rows of yellow and red stripes across the cloth mark each border of this Ewe kente men’s cloth, while the black ground shimmers with multiple yellow threads woven up and down through the black. Around a third of the original cloth is missing and there are a few worn spots in what remains, but this is still a neat usable fabric, perhaps for cushions. Dates from circa 1960s.
Measurements 131 inches x 61, 333 cm x 154.
