Description
Sheltered by a chief’s umbrella carried by a follower, an unidentified animal (a dog ?) holds aloft a sword. Highly unusual imagery on this neatly made Fante Asafo flag dating from circa 1980s. I can’t recall seeing an umbrella on an Asafo flag before. Condition is excellent. Measurements 62 inches x 45, 158 cm x 114.
