Description
Lovely soft colours on the multiple different strips of this striped Ewe kente woman’s cloth. Many of the stripes are woven with two colours of cotton thread plied together, a characteristic of this style of Ewe cloth, but the use of so many different strips is unusual. Dates from circa 1960s. In excellent condition.
Measurements 66 inches x 46, 168 cm x 117.
