Description
A classic style of cloth from the Bondoukou region of North eastern Ivory Coast, this woman’s wrapper from the Abron or Koulango peoples alternates indigo striped strips with narrower red and white strips. Flecks of colour cross the blue strips at intervals. Dates from around the 1960s and is in very good condition.
Measurements 66 inches x 47, 167 cm x 119.
