Ewe kente chief’s cloth with an unusual colour palette. This time there are brick pink, dark blue, and lilac warp stripes on a grey ground. This is a very neatly woven cloth with some fine weft float motifs including an interesting composite design of a red hand, a yellow elephant, and a white stool. As you can see from the yellow elephant some of the silk threads used for the motifs have partially perished, while the cotton remains intact. It also lacks a few of the original strips. The price is lower than would otherwise be the case for a cloth of this quality to reflect this condition issue.
