Description
This one is darker than is typical of these mid century Yoruba beige cotton “sanyan “cloths. Sets of four weft float stripes in a duck-egg blue are set across the strips between small blocks of openwork with floating thtreads. The hand spun cotton used for the weft gives the cloth a slubby texture. In very good condition. These strong cloths make striking wall hangings or furnishing fabrics for pillows or small upholstery projects.
Measurements 6’ 10″x 4’8″, 207 cm x 141.
