A really fine well woven example of a type of marriage cloth called a Duna, from the Nupe people who live along the banks of the River Niger in Central Nigeria. Clear well woven designs including rows of small camels make this a standout piece. Woven in two panels by a woman using the upright loom. Dates from circa 1960 and us in excellent condition.

Measurements 71 inches plus fringe x 47 inches,
