Description
Quite an unusual navy blue background pattern, with narrow pinstripes at the edges, on this finely woven Ewe kente men’s cloth. Pattern blocks made up of multiple narrow coloured stripes frame small geometric weft float motifs. Dates from circa 1950s and is in excellent condition.
Measurements: 9’4″ x 5’9″, 283 cm x 174.
