A tribute to the infinite possibilities of blue and white cotton in the hands of skilled Asante kente weavers. In the middle decades of the twentieth century blue and white cotton strip weave cloths like these were a popular choice for women’s ceremonial attire in the southern part of Ghana. Today, while they are not rare, it’s difficult to find examples that have survived in neat clean condition.
