Natural dyed beige cotton strip weave woman’s wrapper cloth from the Yoruba people of Nigeria, circa 1960. This colour of aso oke cloth was called sanyan and drew it’s continued prestige from older wild silk fabric of the same colour. In excellent complete condition. Would make an excellent furnishing fabric for cushions.
Measures 80 inches x 67, 204 cm x 172.
