Charming 1970s Fante Asafo flag with a composite image. At the right a female company officer with characteristic Fante hairstyle points to a man putting money into a jar for storing wealth. At the right an animal (a lion perhaps) has its face under water. I can’t recall seeing this motif before. By the master flag maker Kobina Badowah or his workshop, for Safohen Ageege of an unidentified No 3 company. In worn but good condition. Measurements 59 inches X 38, 150 cm X 96.
