Description
I like the contrast between the regularity of the pleat and stitch resist technique used to pattern this Yoruba adire cloth and the faint irregular patterns at the edges where indigo dye seeped into the folded cloth. A few faint marks but overall in good condition. Dates from circa 1960s.
Measurements 73 inches x 62, 186 cm x 157.
