Enjoy this superb Ewe kente chief’s cloth in exceptional complete condition. dating from around the 1930s it has a single yellow hand motif towards the centre but the focus of the master weavers skill and the beauty of the cloth lies in the subtle palette of colours he has used to build up the multitude of weft blocks across the strips: muted pinks, soft beiges, pale blues etc.
Measurements 10’2″ x 5’7 1/2″, 309 cm x 171.
