Description
A rare weft faced Ewe kente cloth, this one a bit older, dating to around 1900. Ewe people loved this brick red colour, here alternating most pleasingly with indigo and white hand spun cotton weft stripes. There are a few neat patched repairs in this very decorative and attractive cloth which would look great over a bed or on the wall.
Measurements 7’11” x 4’5″, 241 cm x 135.
