E886 –Interesting early C20th Ewe chief’s cloth with characteristic arrangement of threefold pattern blocks set in a regular grid layout but unusually on a mixed pattern ground of three different warp striped strips. Narrow weft stripes make a large scale check of the warp faced sections. Extra weft floats are predominantly orange and in a variety of geometric and figurative designs. Condition is very good, complete.

Measurement: 128 inches x 81, 325 cm x 207 cm.
