Asante style patterning on this aubergine coloured cotton ground kente men’s cloth, but perhaps the work of an Ewe weaver. Geometric float motifs alternate with blocks of mainly yellow stripes. In excellent complete condition. Dates from circa 1960s.
Measurements 115 inches x 80, 293 cm x 204.
