ASF193 – Attractive 1970s Fante Asafo flag. The Asafo Company officer, with whip, and two followers, point to a large cooking pot. Illustrates the proverb “it boils but it does not burn,” a reference to rival companies that look dangerous but are nothing to be afraid of. In the classic 1970s style associated with the well known artist Kobina Badowah and his workshop in Kormantse. Condition: Good, some surface marks consistent with use.
