Superb Ewe kente chief’s cloth in a rare early C20th weft -faced style. A classic Ewe alternation of red and dark indigo blue blocks broken up by carefully aligned yellow, blue, and white stripes across the textile. Exceptionally for this type of cloth it is in excellent complete condition.
Measurements 10’5″ x 6’2″, 316 cm 187.
