Description

K295 – Good neat example of a style of blue and white cotton men’s cloth that was woven by both Ewe and Asante weavers. In the absence of Ewe style figurative motifs it doesn’t seem to be possible to clearly distinguish between the two traditions on this coth type. While these cloths are not scarce it can be hard to find clean neat examples such as this. Dates from around the 1950s. Condition is excellent.

Measurement: 118 inches x 72 ins, 300cm x 183cm
