Description
A carefully planned alternation of pairs of narrow blue weft stripes with pairs of wider stripes crosses the lighter blue and white stripes along each strip forming a regular grid pattern. Denser stripe packed borders frame the central field. In excellent complete condition. Either an Asante or an Ewe weaver could have woven this piece. Dates from circa 1930-50s.
