Attractive blue and white cotton kente men’s cloth dating from around 1950s, with a carefully laid out alternation of two different angular motifs in pairs framed by blocks of weft float patterning. Both Asante and Ewe weavers wove cloths of this type so it is not possible to attribute it more precisely. Condition is very good. This large cloth would make a beautiful bed cover.
Measurement: 114 inches x 79, 291 cm x 200 cm.
