Eggs are impregnable to a swarm of ants, a metaphor for the company’s defence. A female Asafo company officer with amulet covered wrapper stands at the right. Late work by the prolific and long lived master flagmaker of the Anomabo workshop, Kwamina Amoaku (1895-1985) –  See Forni & Ross, Art, Honor, and Ridicule (2017:61-62) for a discussion of this significant figure and the Anomabo workshop with which he was associated. Dates from circa 1970. In excellent condition.
