Code: AD256 - Rare style of adire where a faint subtle pattern is created by a sewn resist technique, with circles and vaguely animal forms apparent in the dark indigo. I have heard this design called "etu" after the speckled plumage of the guineafowl, but it may well have had another name. Design area is framed by simple tied resist borders.
